I Want One:

Holy Smokes! I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: they really do have everything in Japan! Jeremey has found a ‘Lego vending machine’ on the streets of Tokyo. I’m quite sure that my parents are breathing a sigh of relief that these weren’t around when I was a growing up.

It’s a little worrying just how much stuff is about in Japan. Take for example a trip to “Yamada”, a home electronics store. I went over to the magazine rack, and down at the bottom they went like this:

1. PC magazine about hardware
2. C++ magazine
3. Flash design magazine
4. Magazine with a pregnant, naked lady having a shower on the front cover.
5. Mac magazine

And no, number 4 hadn’t been mischievously placed there to attract juvenile giggles from passers-by. There were other examples too, but I was a bit put out when I saw a 4-year-old wandering past.
