From My Inbox:

You know it’s 2003 when:

  • leaving the house without your cell phone (which you didn’t have the first 20 or 30 years of your life) is now a cause for panic, and you turn around to go get it
  • you consider second-day delivery painfully slow
  • you disconnect from the internet and get this awful feeling, as if you just pulled the plug on a loved one
  • you wake up at 4am to go to the bathroom, and check your e-mail on the way back to bed
  • you just tried to enter your password on the microwave
  • you go online before getting your coffee in the morning

Internet before coffee? Moi?

All six bullets apply to me. Honestly! I wake up once or twice at night, to go get milk for my little son and each single time I go and check for email (and slightly browse my favorites sites while I am at it).

Interesting, the exact same thing I do before going to sleep. Definitely, Internet has changed my life.

“you wake up at 4am to go to the bathroom, and check your e-mail on the way back to bed” though i once did try to zoom in with the scroll key on a browser. in *real* life.

david: I couldn’t imagine urban life without it (internet). Sometimes I find it almost impossible to break away from the PC.

tozé: actually I sleep right through the night, but I know if I did wake up I’d go browsing ;) I’m guilty of the scroll/zoom quirk myself!
