music suggestions:

Ok, so my playlist is reaching that unappetizing state of affairs where I haven’t heard anything new or different in too long. As far as my music preferences go, whatever sounds good goes, anything from Antiloop to Schubert, Metallica to Moby, Ani di Franco to The Cult, I’ll listen to almost anything at least once. So please make your suggestions, anything in particular that’s got your ear at the moment?

I’ve been listening to Faye Wong who’s a Chinese singer. She sings in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Alternative pop would be the best way to describe it.

In the english realm I’d suggest : Cake, Neko Case, Wild Strawberries, Sara Craig, Texas, Afro Celt Sound System and Eminem.

I would like to recommend the album “Last Drag” by The Samples. Also anything you can get your mitts on by DJ TIESTO. AWESOME STUFF!!!!

Thanks for those suggestions guys.

Eric: I had totally forgotten about Texas, still digging for some Faye Wong and a few of the others. Eminem I got ;)

Broch: Loving “The Samples”, good stuff! Yes, DJ Tiesto is excellent.

Try “Boards of Canada” if you get the chance. Simply beautiful, and everyone who has heard of them agree.
