Ok, not ok! I’m all sweaty and itchy… it’s hell-of-a-hot in this room. Finishing up the site is beginning to get on my nerves. Mainly, the layout isn’t as open, succint, stylish, and refined as I would like it to be. Back to the drawing board to whip up a “swashbuckling” solution. Think I’ll grab a few beers first though.

* yeah it looks terrible around here at the moment, but I won’t be cleaning things up until I’ve had a nice old sleep, some fresh air, and sip on some creativity — bear with me…

A day much the same as the past few have been: uneventful. I still have a bit of a stuffy nose, which makes the heat just that much more obnoxious. I’ve promised myself an early evening tonight, so that I can make a bright start in the morning, get out there and get some shots.

The site? Well, one or two minor details to sort out. Need to spruce up the about section, and put together the format for the extended photolog. Hopefully I can make some headway on that this evening and be all ready to go in a day or two. Now wouldn’t that be nice =)

The week got off to a busy start, having to fetch people from the airport, chauffeur them around, go to dinners, fly across the country, and assist in last-minute curio shopping.

Unfortunately, I think that hanging around in one of my regular haunts with 3 friends who smoke non-stop, and where the ventilation system wasn’t working on Tuesday evening, probably did my sinuses in. I awoke Wednesday morning to a killer headache, and heavy nasal congestion, and haven’t been quite able to recover 100% yet. Let’s hope it’s gone by Monday, I wanna get out on the town.

While perusing one of my favorite weblog haunts over the weekend, I found this wonderful piece. Jason Kottke, of kottke.org fame, has masterfully exposed a line of thought that has at one time or another, run through all our minds. I found it really stirring. Enjoy!

Can you believe it?! A little problem that I was struggling with in PHP for about an hour this morning, I resolved with a single line of code only moments ago. Like they say: “Live and Learn!”

I’ll keep at it until “Force 10 from Navarone” comes on the box, in about 2 hours. I think I remember part of this movie from when I was about 12 years old!

Yeah, so I was out until 4am … As a result of the tequila, work will not be resumed until tomorrow. Don’t forget to catch the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix tomorrow, it’s looking as though Ferrari will be handing out a good beating to all of the other teams … again.

There are still quite a few items I need to work on, and a good deal of content to be added. This is just another test post to see the effect of certain adjustments. ;)

It’s just about the middle of summer, and the sun seems to be rising at around 6:00 these days which is the perfect opportunity for us all to get an early start to the day, but quite frankly I think it’s bamboozling me more than anything else. Every morning when my computer starts itself up at around 7:30, and I open my eyes to see what’s going on, there is usually so much sun out that I figure I must have overslept because there’s just too much light. On several occassions I’ve even woken up and thought to myself that there must be something wrong with my computer, because there is way too much sun for it to not be 7:30 already, but then I’ll look at my watch and see that it’s around 6:30. Talk about playing games with your mind. At least the tide will be going the other way this month: thanks to these guys for putting my mind at ease.
